These are the top five reasons people give for not commuting by bike. Rocky Mountain News knocks down each one.

  1. It’s too far, and I don’t have the time.
  2. I need to wear dress clothes at work.
  3. I don’t have a place to shower.
  4. The weather is too rotten to ride my bike.
  5. There’s no place to park my bike at work.
