I am fortunate enough to have won a bike in an essay contest held by Bicycling Magazine. The bike was laced with Shimano Nexus components. I really love my Giant Cypress LE Hybrid. Nexus makes my commute so much more enjoyable. The whole internal gears is way beyond me. But Sheldon Brown explaines how this stuff actually works.
