Oregon Walk + Bike To School Day

Tomorrow is the Oregon Walk + Bike to School Day.
The 2004 Oregon Walk + Bike to School Day was held on October 6, 2004, and over 7,400 kids and 1,100 adults participated at 45 schools around the state! Some schools reported that over 90% of their students walked or biked.
This year we hope to increase participation to 10,000 kids and 60 schools, and provide incentives such as ‘Walk+Bike’ stickers and reflective hang-tags. ‘Walk+Bike’ t-shirts and posters will be available in small quantities for each school, and for sale.
