Bike 2 Work day pictures

Here’s a picture of me on ‘Bike to Work’ day. I’ve just finished my 11 mile commute back to my brother’s house. I encountered a nasty 9mph head wind for most of my way back. I’m not mad, I’m tired.
This is a picture of the San Gabriel River trail in the morning. Notice the ‘Bum Motel’ on the left hand side of the trail.
Picture of other fellow commuters on the trail. I’ve been noticing more commuters on the trail since gas prices have gone thru the roof. Coincidence? I think NOT!
is that the santa ana river? what cross streets? i’m out there almost everyday between harbor and the coast…
It’s The San Gabriel River Trail. I ride it from Florence Ave to Foster Rd.
I remember when I was 15, RL took me out on the river trail and rode all the way down to New Port Beach. RL, do you know how far of a ride it was? How ever it was, my legs were burning for a week after it. I got smoked! Ofcourse being the big brother, I couldn’t let him know about the agony.
nice, i will have to check that out on some “extended” rides. =)

Randy, that was 50 miles round trip. Man I totally remember that ride, my pump went through my spokes that day…
