In Mass, the money from specialized plates go into a separate account that can't be seized or redirected, so there's some degree of confidence that the money goes where it's supposed to. In Florida, that's not the case. If they had a "Share the road" plate, there's nothing to stop the money from going into an "Elect Kathleen Harris" fund. Sure, okay.
