Found A Recruit

Do you ever feel like a recruiter when it comes to cycling? I always try to get someone to go out for a ride with me. The other day my buddy Eri and I took our new neighbor John out for a ride to City Island. He started out like he was “Driving Miss Daisy” but got into the groove after a while. He said that it’s been years since he last rode a bike. All in all I think that he enjoyed himself. He liked it so much that he went out and bought a couple of bikes for him and his wife the same day. John now plans to commute by bike to work. I guess I did my good deed for the day.

Cool! Now all John and Eri have to do is get two people under them and those two people get two more under them and so on and so on and so on…

  2. Wow! Riding with a celebrity. That’s awesome! Yah, I am always recruiting when I head out..even at work encouraging my co-workers to try it out. Moe’s wife Grace and my neighbor now Mtn bike with me consistantly. We have such a great time. (I have NEVER had someone come out with me that didn’t like it). The more the merrier!

    You want an autograph?

  4. RL Policar says:

Can you video tape him singing the “Augustus Gloop” song?

So who’s the little fella on the far left? Is that McCully Caulkin? Man he was great in Home Alone!

  6. Randy, Did you want me to smack RL for you?!?! lol.
