I bought the Abajo Peak about 6 weeks ago and love it. I emailed the folks at Fezzari to get some basic info and they answered all of my questions. You can also order the bike directly from them for the same price that Costco lists them as. Setup took a little longer than I had hoped, but now that it's tweaked it's a great ride.

I did read on one forum that one problem when buying a lesser know bike is getting replacement derailleur hangers. I recommend order a spare (which I did) - I've broken a couple of these hangers on previous bikes.

I agree with you SV, riding on roads is cool and has its own challenges. But you don't get the same rush as you would being off road.

Much thanks, I'm looking to get back into MTBing and investigating my options. The road is fun, but the trails are a rush.

You can pick one up from Costco for about 9 bills. But the Wiki Peak is only about $649 and its the same frame.
