I made the mistake of buying an all carbon fiber MTB back in like 1998 (Cannondale Raven).. The small weight savings were completely wiped out if i simply added a Mulepack or two water bottles.. :-) Carbon Fiber is cool, but for the money, seems to be too expensive (still)..
