What Are People Thinking!?!?!?!?!?!

by RL Policar

Moe showed me this ad on Craigslist for our area. It blew me away just how stupid people can be…

**EASY-FIX Adult’s MOUNTAIN BIKE****$400 BIKE ONLY FIVE BUCKS!!!!!! – $5

Great mountain bike, missing only the seat and front wheel– just five bucks! Very inexpensive and easy to replace these….basically a $400 bike for $5! Awesome deal. Don’t pass this up! I will post a pic soon.

For any questions or if you would like to come see call 858.555 1212

Cheese and RICE! It’s a stinkin’ Magna…You can buy those brand new from Target for as little as $50…not $400!

  1. Varroa says:

No only is it a cheap bike but it may be stolen, how do you loose a front wheel and a seat unless the bike was locked up by the front wheel and the seat was removed when it was taken?

  2. The $400 is probably what it cost to bail the guy out of jail.

  3. Nick says:

you can always spot a cheap bike by the cranks.

  4. Nicole says:

Exactly my thoughts, Varroa. I’m guessing the front wheel was sacrificed to the bike rack and the owner still has his quick release seat. And this clown stole it for $5?!

Furthermore, even if this is legit, what’s the point of listing something on Craigslist if you’re only asking $5? The time to list this, email/phone interested people, then meet up with potential buyers is worth way more than $5.

  5. Mike says:

Wow, stolen for sure. Might be wise to delete the phone number though, privacy and all.
