Clipless pedals make the Redline 925 so much more fun to ride and easier to climb with. I know some are hesitant about "trapped" but as long as you set the tension on your pedals to the minimum, you won't have problems getting out.

It's funny, I've used clipess pedals for so long now, even when I use platform pedals, my feet still make that un-clipping movement when I am dismounting my pedals...

Riding a fixed gear without toe clips or clipless pedals is very difficult. Is that what you've been doing? Back me up here, RL, I know you switched to clipless and found it much easier.

Also, a great tip for a successful century is to drink too much beer the night before, sleep through your alarm, wake up too late for breakfast and reach the start line with a pounding headache. You won't find that kind of advice in Bicycling Magazine!

I won't put them on the Raleigh One way, in fact, I'm hesitant to use any type of 'clip in' pedal. I will starting to train for a century, the Ibex Corrida will be my training bike and most likely the recepient of the knee savers. For the record, I own 11 bikes.

Don't put them on the fixed-gear! You will lose what little pedal clearance you have when making turns. Put them on one of your other fifty bikes.
