A couple weeks ago I posted my review of the Chrome Shins knickers. Then yesterday I received a press release from them announcing three new products (click the thumbnail pictures to see them bigger):
Chrome compliments the existing line of technical riding gear with a front zip Merino Wool riding jacket. Hard core cyclists and style victims will agree wool keeps you cooler and dryer than any other fabric. The Pacer is made from 100% natural, sustainable and biodegradable merino fibers. In addition to being soft, washable, warm and stylish, merino’s natural crimp helps trap small pockets of air, which proved excellent insulation while the garments remain light and flexible. Technical aspects include a back zipper and cut high in front lower in back.
Chrome introduces a functional utilitarian hip pouch that is designed for the working bike messenger, although useful enough for the daily commuter and minimal urban rider. The HipBone allows for easy access to a U-lock as well as daily objects that are needed on the fly. This HipBone can be worn on the waist while on the bike or over the shoulder in the urban environment. Perfect for male and female riders.
Chrome introduces a new lightweight version of their existing messenger style knicker. This 4.8 oz. knicker also called Shins will feature the use of breathable and water-repellent 4-way stretch fabric, articulated knees and zipper secured cargo pockets. The Shins also include a lightly padded seat and inseam, secure pockets, and are cut high in back and low in front for superior comfort and feel.
