I considered similar fenders (Full Woodies from River City Bicycles in Portland, OR) but the flatness made me gravitate towards more traditional fenders -- they don't really wrap around the wheel, and I was afraid lots of spray would end up on me. I'll reconsider for my next bike, if someone has personal experience otherwise, as those would look awesome on my town bike.
