Over the past couple of years I’ve seen a huge increase in the number of news stories on commuting by bike. Even though the cooling autumn weather traditionally signals the end of the cycling “season,” the news media continues to report on bike commuters. Here’s a sampling of recent stories:
- Tempe named Bicycle Friendly Community.
- David Bryne pushes cycling lifestyle.
- Take it for a ride: 2 miles, 2 wheels (on Clif’s 2 mile challenge).
- Grand Junction, Colorado commuter challenge: bikes only for three weeks.
