(at least 15). We usually leave for the long weekend on the Friday after for an annual trip to Freeport Me., LLBean country, and get most of our Christmas shopping done during those three days. This year for wifey's birthday, I am taking her on a trip as a surprise. The bigger surprise though is that our two boys will join us on the fourth day of the trip, her birthday. We also decided, that because buying each other Christmas gifts would only be symbolic gestures, we would forgo that, adopt a family and give them a nice Christmas. We are both thankfull that we are comfortable enough in our lives that we can share that little bit, and do something special for another family. I have worked Thanksgivng day for many years.
