		<description>True dat, Fred.  The non-cyclists&#039; excuse machine is very well developed. A super-athlete riding a distance that even many dedicated cyclists would consider discouraging is just a freak show to many observers.

		<description>A 100 mile commute sounds like a good candidate for the hot road bikes we talked about the other day :-)

I rode 32 miles today (total morning and evening distance) and thought I did well :-)</description>

Well, I want everyone to know I commuted by bike five days straight this last week, three of those days had rains of deluge proportions. My rain cape kept my upper body dry, but my shoes, socks and pants were soaked. The last day I wore rainboots, but water got into those, too.</description>
