Last week I installed a set of Zeppelin fenders on my commuter. They do take a bit more work than the plastic fenders, but they’re worth it. For one thing, the Zeppelins are longer and cover more than most fenders. And they are very stylish.

I also want to plug Velo Orange: They offer lots of useful and interesting products, and it’s hard to beat their customer service. I’m also using their touring pedals, toe straps, toe clip leather covers, leather handlebar wrap and cork grips. All are well thought-out, well-made, nice-looking and resonably priced.

I’d love to see a review of the Basil Memphis Panniers. I’ve been meaning to get to Velo Orange to check them out but haven’t gotten there yet. They don’t really rattle at all, atleast that I can notice.

If they’re installed correctly, they don’t rattle. VO sells leather fender washers that eliminate the chance of rattling, too.

Looking sharp! VO has lots of yummy fender choices these days…
