Electra bicycle recall

by Richard Masoner

Electra Bicycle Company has recalled 2009 model year Delivery 3i, Delivery 8D, Holiday 3i and Surf 3 bicycles because the front rack can come loose and jam into the front wheel, potentially causing injury. If you have one of these Electra bikes with a front rack, contact your Electra dealer for a free repair.

Not to worry. It’s an extremely easy fix that Electra wants performed. It’ll take like 2 minutes unless your “mechanic” doesn’t know how to properly work a drill….
