which will take about 30 minutes maximum. Would you recommend a folding bike, and if so which and at what cost? I need something basic and have no other plans to use the folding bike other than to take it with me to my office.

Reading through the comments at the NYT post. This question is awesome :D
----
I want to start commuting to work on my bike but I have a few concerns. First off, I'm worried my jeans aren't tight enough and that they might get stuck in my chain. I went shopping for new tight jeans so I could ride my bike, but designer jeans can cost as much as $50! Also, I bought a messenger bag to carry my keys and their attached carabiner, and my bag isn't adequately filled out. I tried stuffing it with balled-up newspaper, but then I can't find my keys. Any tips?

thanks,
