I see your chin showing in that picture so it can’t be THAT cold. C’mon ;-) Not sure how cold it gets down there, but I have to wear ski goggles and a full face mask in the winter up in Vermont. On a warm winter day it’s 30 degrees, but that’s pretty rare. Between 0 and 15 is pretty much the norm. The hard part is riding with so much stuff on your face. Turning my head takes work. The little spots of skin that show on my head sting from the wind. I think I’ll just move to North Carolina ;-)

At my age (72) I am using my bike indoors only.Where I live on Cape Cod, the temps have been 20-30 with a constant wind between 10-25 mph.
There is no reason for me to be hard core. Now Aaron on the other hand is very hard core and is probably a lot younger than me. If I was in N.Carolina, I would ride outside all year.

Pretty much the same conditions as Aaron,When snow arrives its over for me. I<ts not a question of cold more than safety the snow banks are high the lanes are narrow and most of the time you can<t see the asphalte.I actually was pulled over by a cop once,I was<nt doing anything ilegal but she questioned the safety aspect and I had to agree .This year I managed to stretch the season to mid November and break out the stationary bike to keep in shape for spring ahhh spring 62 days 14 hrs 6 min left, not that I am counting……
