I know the review of the Banjo Brothers Waterproof Truck was done a while ago but I was wondering if the width of the bike affected your pedaling.

That is did your legs hit the bag when pedaling?

Thanks for the review on the bag. I have had a very difficult time finding a good fitting bag for my commuter electric bike locally. I finally converted an old video camera bag and mounted it to my rear rack. So far it is working well. Take a look on my blog if you get a chance. http://www.ricksbikeblog.wordpress.com

I use a sling bag when I’m riding my Specialized Hardrock errand runner. When I park it and lock it up in front of the store I take everything with me that can be quick-released and isn’t locked to the bike with the cable lock. This includes the entire headlight and mount assembly and the saddle and seat stem.

My sling bag has a set of loops which I slip through the saddle rails and seat stem, so I can carry it all together. It’s still sort of cumbersome, however. This trunk looks like it would work much better: everything is all together already so it’s just a matter of flipping the seat release and going.

I, too, am looking forward to its arrival in the spring.

This bag looks sweet! This looks like the perfect size for longer rides when it’s wet out.

I’ve been looking for something this size for a little while and most bags I’ve seen this size aren’t waterproof. I’ve had my eye on a similar sized Velo Orange bag and Acorn bag, but I don’t think my bike really has that classic look.

Too bad it isn’t in stores yet. Looking forward to it in the spring.
