I have broken 3 helmets in the last 15 or 20 years, and not one with a car as an excuse. 2 were caused by ice, and 1 was alcohol. I am in line for a new helmet now, so mayhaps I will give this one a try. This or a Crusar.

Heck yeah, I’d wear that. I wear a helmet for three main reasons:

1. Safety
2. Better than the handlebars for mounting a rear-view mirror
3. Cooler than a bare head OR a cap in the Arizona sun.

A lot of people don’t realize that bike helmets are, by design, cooler than wearing a hat.

I'm hoping we can get more from Keith. Interestingly, I have a Lazer helmet that has been compared to the helmets in Tron.

...with integrated lamps that not only has the word Lazer in its name (made even more awesome by using a “z”), but that looks as if it was styled by Tron, with the influence of the original 1980s Cylons and Buck Rogers thrown in.

Makes you wonder if Lazer's design team are a bunch of Science Fiction geeks. "O crap! I'm supposed to design another helmet by tomorrow. I have no ideas, and I've blown the last week watching the five-disc Ultimate Collector's Edition of Blade Runner. Wait a minute... Perhaps I do have an idea...
