Heavy Load of Veggies in the Croozer Cargo

by Josh Lipton

I really enjoy seeing bikes like this one pictured here that embrace the best of a variety of current trends in the cycling industry. The bike is a custom frame hand-built by Steve Garro of Coconino Cycles here in Flagstaff. With a Surley Pugsley wheel up front and a standard wheel in back, the bike has balloon tire front suspension. The owner of this bike mostly uses it for touring with his setup of front and rear Old Man Mountain Cold Springs racks. For around town, the Croozer Cargo does the job of hauling things like a cooler full of groceries home from the farmer’s market.
