Harry's Recovery Child Trailer Turned Cargo Part 2

About a year ago, we posted up a great example of converting a bike child trailer into a bike cargo trailer. Basically, the trailer was stripped down to its bare essentials and rebuilt for carrying gear and goods. Harry was kind enough to pass along these photos of the finished product all loaded up for a camping trip. With a little bit of ingenuity, it doesn’t cost to much to have a whole lot of fun with a bike trailer.

In Harry’s words:

Happy ending to my trailer story. You guys featured the beginning of my trailer rebuild/rehab, but I’m including 2 photos of the beginning. I finally got to take the trailer camping for 4 days, it performed perfectly. In the end, I dispensed with the fabric around the frame, opting instead to just use it as a cargo trailer. With 10 bungee cords, my load was secure. And I had plenty of huge ziploc bags in case of rain.
Total cost: $75
Total enjoyment: infinite
