		<description>I managed to use &lt;em&gt;schlep&lt;/em&gt; in my latest post. With &lt;em&gt;mensch&lt;/em&gt;, &lt;em&gt;schmoe&lt;/em&gt;, and &lt;em&gt;schlep&lt;/em&gt;, I&#039;m more than halfway through my entire Yiddish vocabulary.</description>

I just don&#039;t understand the resistance to bicycling as transportation. Do you think people just aren&#039;t looking at the evidence? Or are they looking at the evidence through personal-bias-colored glasses? Or is it a political stunt just to get &quot;their way&quot;?

Oh, and don&#039;t forget: as soon as you have all those folks locked into their hotel rooms for the UCI World Championships, I expect you to get really hair-on-fire about insisting they let recumbents race!</description>
