I commute on a similar 2004 Globe. I love the dynamo hub.

I have a 2007 Globe Comp, basically a City 3.1 without the fenders & rack. The carbon fork makes for a lightweight and cushy ride, the Nexus hub makes for effortless shifting. I haven't seen a better value anywhere.

I just got this bike as luckily my LBS had one left in stock in the basement and on clearance. I have wanted this bike for a couple of years and I'm happy to say its living up to my expectations. My hubby wanted one too but now has to settle for a Crosstrail Sport...lol
