I bought mine from Veloce bikes in Portland OR last Nov. and built it up with 105 compact comps, soma saddle, fenders, and rack, and pretty generic parts. I have about 1000 miles on it so far and it shows no sign of surrender. The CroMo steel is HEAVVVVVVVY though.

I set mine up as a flat bar commuter with Easton bar and stem, and SRAM X-7 drivetrain. WTB 29'er rims and 27c Rivendell Roll-y Pol-y tires. She's not fast, but she's easy! ;-)

I love my Doublecross. The only real "strike" against this frame is the existence of the Cross Check. Basically the same idea (only Soma's fork is more versatile) but the Cross Check as Horizontal dropouts. That allows the 'Check far more flexibility than this frame. However, I've been riding mine for three years and love it.
