My xtracycle is retrofitted onto a hybrid; it turned a regular bike into an extremely practical car replacement. The saddlebags are like the back seat of a car. www.xtraycle.com - I thought I'd put that URL in but I'm informed that I haven't.

the only problem with the marin novato xracycle is that is dose not exist any more i know becuse i just tried to order one. the 08 is not compatible witht the free-rad. best replacement xtra can offer is anything from jamis there is some pretty rad stuff in the trail section of there site that compares to the marin.

I saw an older one at REI outlet--great price, I need another bike. How/why is the Novata imcompatible with the xtracycle?

Been using an xtracycle on an old rigid rockhopper for years. It has been the single most practical bike product i've ever used. I'm pretty skeptical about advertising claims made by manufacturers but the xtracycle lived up to the hype.
