2007

Description

Australian Cyclist, Mar-Apr 07 - "The 1*1 is a great re-introduction to cycling for those concentrating on staying upright and avoiding obstacles. But if the thought of only one gear is too out-of-date, you can choose the more acceptable 3*9."

I have the 2007 1x1 in brushed metallic silver. Took the decals off, added rack and fenders (fork has no fender eyelets), replaced coffee mug with water bottle (I live in Southern Cali), cut down the handle bars. Loved the single speed drive train, but added a 9-speed in the back after a year cause my knees couldn't take it on the uphill stop signs. Might change the platform pedals to straps.

I love the coffee mug... Being in Michigan, an insulated mug o' coffee or tea is an essential component of the ride at least 6 months out of the year.
