This model was replaced in the 2008 Model Year with the 1.5. The replacement model has slightly more modest components (Shimano Tiagra vs. Shimano 105 with the 1500). All-in-all a very stable and well designed road bike for the sub-$1000 price point.Back to Top

Purchased 1500 w/triple crank in August of 2007. Came with Ultegra components and a price of $1149. Changed rear gears and deraillier to 11/32 and Shimano XT for climbing. My 61 yr old body completed the Bay to Bay MS 150 in Oct this year. My first century and group ride.
