I purchased this bike in Dec. 08 and have used it for regular road riding, loaded touring, and now cyclocross. I have to say that the tubing is stiff enough for a burly tour, but the wheel base is not as long as a long haul trucker. I have done several tours of several hundred miles and it's more than adequate for me. Takes the weight just fine (front and rear panniers with tent stove etc.) The low BB and slack head tube make it comfortable, but not as stable as a real touring bike with a longer wheel base. When I built it up for cyclocross, I was amazed at how fun it was. That's the bike I'm racing on this season and it has truly found it's calling. Overall ride quality: 9 Weight: 6.5 Value:10
