Hello, anyone there?

This bag appears to be what I've been looking for, even it seems to be designed for a rear rack. I have about 7" of rail on my VO contructeur front rack for mounting the RP-200 with the velcro straps. Would that be enough?

If necessary, with a little creative thinking and a trip to the hardware store, I could probably use the eyelets on the sides of the top rails to extend the rails out front about an inch or two more .

Thanks for reading

Hi Caintuck,

Thanks for helping get these forums rolling.

This will be a bit of a tight fit without a little bit of adaptation. The Lone Peak RP-200 is 11" long. The center of the straps are about 7" apart. The bag then extends 2" in either direction. So overall, it looks like you would need to extend a rail out about 3" and that the bag will extend of the rack 4"

Thanks for the info Josh. And yes, I agree that it probably wouldn't fit. So here's what I'm looking at now. Pricey but a perfect fit.

If this doesn't show the front rack top back, scroll down.

Hey Josh, why was your latest post deleted; the one where you mentioned that the Zimbale bag at Harris was a good fit?

And why do I have to update my profile with my internet name, Caintuck, every time log in? Your system always wants me to log in with my real name, which is a no no.

We had to restore a previous day backup yesterday so lost yesterday's posts.

My quick reply was:

"That bag definitely looks well suited for the VO rack."

I think there is a bug in our system where the display name that you put it doesn't hold. We'll look at resolving ASAP.
