I have a 3 year old daughter and a Kestrel talon 105 (carbon with aluminum dropouts). Do you sell something I could use to pull her around with on this bike?
In our experience carbon fiber bicycle frames handle the load and stresses of bike child and bike cargo trailers without any issues. Two-wheeled bike child and bike cargo trailers do a great job of spreading the load stress onto the wheels of the trailer.
Single-wheel trailers such as the BOB Trailer are the style that put the most load onto the bicycle frame. A heavily loaded BOB on rough terrain would be the trailer style most likely to over-stress a bicycle frame.
Have a look at our blog post on bike trailers on carbon fiber bikes from a few years back.
